Job Description: The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a(n) Product Stewardship Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: + Leading the daily compliance task of approving new 3M products intended for the market by ensuring documentation relating to local requirements are fulfilled. + Managing Packaging Waste and Electronic waste submissions. + Approving hazardous (CLP) artworks for a variety of new products + Working closely with internal and external customers and within the EMEA Product Stewardship team to manage enquiries on regulatory aspects of 3M products. Example, REACH, SVHC information, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, compositional data, etc. + Managing raw material compliance for manufacturing sites in Poland, tracking new raw materials and liaising with external suppliers for compositional information. + Supporting compliance improvement activities through development of new processes and systems. + Monitoring relevant emerging regulatory requirements and trends Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements: + Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, technical (e.g. Chemical Engineering, Environmental, Material Science, etc.) + Knowledge on product safety and chemical regulations (REACH, CLP, EPR, etc.) with experience in a similar role + Proficiency in English (very good in writing and speaking) Additional knowledge and/or qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: + Enjoys working with multiple IT systems, including SAP, excel + Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and capable of dealing with short deadlines + Demonstrated communication skills; must be able to summarize and articulate technical information to diverse audiences both verbally and in writing + Self-driven with a “can do” attitude and growth mindset + Experience working with different cultures and cross functional teams + Problem solving skills with the ability to bring projects to a conclusion Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
