Product Stewardship Specialist
Reporting to the Director of Supplier Risk Management, the individual is tasked with supporting the Supplier Risk Management team to develop and grow our Environmental Social & Governance program.
Responsibilities:
Support the organization to successfully execute its ESG Strategy, ensuring alignment with the business's wider strategies and goalsReview, analyze and providing recommendations to enhance the ESG Strategy and approach including target settingOwn and manage the implementation of ESG initiatives set out in the annual planAct as a technical expert on ESG standards, reporting and disclosures on a variety of topics including but not limited to REACH, RoHS, Conflict minerals, Carbon Disclosure Project, Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, Scope 1,2 and 3Stay abreast of emerging global regulations, changes to existing global regulations, industry standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ESG to identify impacts to supply base and corporate organizationDevelop and implement strategies for risk mitigation and continuous improvement on material complianceDefine solid processes for systematic reporting, maintaining accurate records and reports, improvement plans, trend analysis and status reporting for existing and emerging regulations and standardsMonitor and measure the effectiveness of environmental programs, policies, and proceduresBuild and maintain relationships with external partners, suppliers, and authorities in the field of material compliance where applicableCoordinate training for internal and external teams to raise awareness of material compliance requirements and best practicesPresent data-driven recommendations for improving performance and reducing environmental impactDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate key performance indicators and trendsMinimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Environmental sciences, Sustainability, Supply Chain or a comparable qualificationMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Sustainability or material compliance roleProject Management Professional (PMP®) or Lean Six Sigma certification or experience a plusIn-depth knowledge of relevant national and international regulations and standards in the field of material compliance including Conflict Minerals, REACH, RoHS, TSCA and California Proposition 65Competency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and SmartsheetSelf-starter with a great work ethic and the ability to interpret complex information and develop pragmatic solutions using superior problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.High level of organizational and time management skills to diligently follow up and follow through, to move tasks forwardStrong communicator, both written & verbal, who is detail oriented, reliable and responsive to email and phone communicationsStrong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with and influence internal and external stakeholdersAble to work effectively under critical deadlinesAbility to easily learn various software applicationsAbility to work in a global, multicultural environment and deal with different cultural approachesExcellent written and spoken English skillsRole can be remote in Czech RepublicWe Don’t Just Build The World, We Build Innovative Technology Too.
