Dow Jones is a division of News Corp (Nasdaq: NWS, NWSA; ASX: NWS, NWSLV). **You Will:** + Product Strategy + Event Brief Assistance: Work alongside the integrated marketing team to assist in developing comprehensive event briefs that align with our strategic goals and resonate with potential sponsors. + Sponsorship Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the international sales team to pitch events effectively and engage with our internal events team to ensure seamless execution. + Product Strategy Collaboration: Support the Product Strategy team by developing and vetting net-new inventory, overseeing Flat Plan development for international events (e.g. Journal Houses, Tech Live Qatar), drafting and negotiating contracts, and conducting thorough research on competitor events to identify market trends and opportunities. + Budget and Pricing Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of budget and pricing strategies for event sponsorships, ensuring competitive positioning while maximizing profitability. + Evaluating Sponsor Impact: Gathering client feedback to better understand successes and shortfalls in order to assess and improve event sponsorship value. + Event Success: + Manage and deliver sponsorship benefits across a suite of sponsors and events for EMEA and APAC-based clients + Develop strong, long-lasting client relationships in the post-sale phase of assigned sponsorships, positively representing the sales lead and organization in every client touchpoint + Host (independently or in coordination with other internal teams) client touch points ensuring milestones are being met to ensure successful event engagements + Ensure successful client touch points through well-communicated client scheduling, thoroughly prepared and socialized agendas, and concise conversation recaps that include recommendations and next steps for clients and internal stakeholders. + Deliver reporting, performance metrics and recaps from events to clients, partnering with internal marketing and events partners to deliver a robust understanding on the event’s success. + Maintain and uphold the integrity of the live event editorial product, always upholding our reputation and creative values. + Engage with various internal teams to promote collaboration and ensure alignment on sponsorship initiatives and event goals. + Assist in the creation of innovative sponsorship activations that enhance brand visibility and deliver value to our sponsors during events **You Have:** + 4+ years experience in a client-facing role + Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment + Bonus experience in dealing with executives and the C-suite + Ability to interact with high-profile clients and stakeholders with confidence. + Strong project management skills to oversee simultaneous events of evolving scales and timelines; ability to collaborate and connect cross-functionally with various teams + Superior Communication: Clear and persuasive communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate interactions with various teams and sponsors. + Previous events and/or experiential marketing experience, ideally within an agency + Analytical and quantitative skills, ideally with experience analyzing data and metrics to define solutions and offer insights/storytelling + Experience creating client-facing materials across workplace technologies (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Salesforce, Adobe, etc.) Reasonable accommodation: Dow Jones, Making Careers Newsworthy - We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.EEO/AA/M/F/Disabled/Vets.
