Product Supply Chain Manager
Description We are offering a temp to hire employment opportunity in the Hi Tech Engineering industry, specifically in CLEARWATER, Florida, United States. We are in search of a dedicated Supply Chain Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing material planning, supply chain operations, as well as production and repair scheduling. You will also manage warehouse and logistic operations to ensure a consistent, high-quality flow of material for uninterrupted production, all while minimizing inventory costs. Responsibilities: • Manage and improve cross-functional, fully integrated planning processes, taking into account make vs buy decisions, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, and material and associated cost elements. • Analyze customer demand, sales forecasts, and historical material usage to create and execute build to order and build to forecast plans. • Supervise production scheduling activities by keeping track of material inventories, monitoring the progress of production and reviewing factors that affect schedules. • Develop and implement a sourcing strategy that aligns with the company's business growth and sourcing needs. • Establish effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet set cost, quality, and delivery targets. • Implement and manage systems to evaluate, monitor and report on supplier performance. • Collaborate with quality, design, and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure 100% on-time delivery by proactively identifying and addressing any issues. • Participate as a key member of the Operations team in making cross-functional operational decisions. • Work closely with the Business Units and Engineering teams during new product development/redesign phases to ensure purchased product costs, quality standards, and product availability align with the company's criteria. • Utilize Microsoft Office Suites and MRP ERP System to manage and monitor supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites. • Experience with MRP ERP System. • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management. • Experience working within a Manufacturing Environment.
