The Product Supply Manager plays a critical role in Weyerhaeuser’s Wood Products Supply Chain team. Based in our Hot Springs, Arkansas office, this position offers an exciting opportunity for a proven supply chain leader to contribute to the continued success of our Southern Lumber U.S. mill system. This role requires strong leadership, robust analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate across teams to meet both customer and business objectives.
This role ensures that the sales team has a comprehensive understanding of available products, while also guiding the lumber organization in balancing cost/value trade-offs within our 11-mill Southern U.S. network. By strategically aligning product offerings with market demands, you will drive profitability, optimize margins, and lead teams in delivering the right product mix.
The Product Supply Manager helps maintain the supply/demand balance in the Southern system and drives alignment with available raw materials, manufacturing capacity, and market needs. This role is accountable for developing and delivering mill-specific product mix strategies and service plans that drive customer satisfaction and enhance profitability.
In this role, you will lead, mentor, and develop a small but dynamic team of supply planners. You will be responsible for guiding and empowering your team to proactively monitor the order file, anticipate challenges, and take appropriate actions based on product mix, sales orders, and mill forecasts. By providing strong leadership, you’ll help ensure that the team is aligned with operational goals, able to meet customer delivery expectations, and contribute to increased profitability.

Product Mix Leadership: Develop and implement short-term strategies (0–90-day timeframe) to ensure timely delivery of the right products at the right price, quality, and volume.
Data – Driven Decision Making Business Processes Leadership
Forecasting Supply/Demand Balancing: Lead key business-critical processes, including production forecasting and balancing supply and demand through committed and reconciliation processes, using data analytics to optimize decisions and improve accuracy.
Pricing Inventory Management: Evaluate price coordination, inventory replenishment, and the resolution of volume imbalance issues to ensure smooth operations.
Supply Plan Optimization
Reliable Supply Plans: Drive the business toward consistent, balanced supply plans that result in sellable tallies, product mixes aligned with market demand, and minimal sales screen discrepancies, informed by data and forecasting models.
Issue Resolution: Proactively manage and resolve gaps in supply and drive root-cause analysis for long-term problem areas, leveraging data to identify trends and optimize solutions.
Product Quality Customer Experience
Champion Product Quality: Advocate for product quality improvements and identify emerging trends and systemic issues to enhance the customer experience and product consistency.
Continuous Improvement: Provide leadership in resolving product quality issues, working cross-functionally to ensure a positive customer impact.
Leadership Team Development
Lead Tactical Supply Planners: Provide leadership to the Southern tactical representative and lead cross-functional teams through influence, fostering a collaborative and high-performance, data -driven culture.

Cross-Functional Communication Issue Resolution

You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 20% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
