Product Support Engineer
Product Support Engineer Job Description: Are you ready to take on a technical and impactful role in a global setting? Join our growing Engineering organization as a Product Support Engineer, where you’ll play a key role in empowering our global customer services teams to succeed. You will act as the bridge between Product Delivery and regional Support teams, tackling complex issues, and driving excellence across all of our teams and tooling. As a Product Support Engineer, you’ll provide high-level expertise to customer service teams worldwide, collaborating with developers, Product Owners, Product Managers, and technical leaders to resolve challenging issues and elevate product quality. You’ll have the opportunity to be a key mentor and resource for support consultants globally, giving you more scope for personal progression and career growth opportunities too! This is a hybrid role - three days per week in our Lisbon office. Key Responsibilities: What you will be doing: - Providing expertise to our Customer services teams worldwide to help analyze and resolve issues. - Collaborating with developers, POs, PMs... focusing on Platform and System areas. - Building and transmitting high-end product technical expertise and support methodology. - Acting as reference for all support teams worldwide. - Contributing to or piloting internal projects around support tools, Web tools, knowledge transfer and product expertise. - Providing preventive support in the roadmap and influence maintenance prioritization by making the voice of the Customer. - Coaching the Support teams in the countries through mentoring and collaborative work on customer situations. Required skills and experience: - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent - Experience working in a Cloud environment would be key - Experience working with multi-tier environments, such as network architectures or authentication methods - Technical handling of GraphQL / Git / PowerBI - Solid knowledge of Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB…) Preferred skills: - Working within Multi-tier environments would be a major plus - Mentorship experience - Experience with Sage X3 and SaaS context, and/or Sage Intacct would be nice-to-have - Experience working with C++ and TypeScript languages Function: Product Delivery Country: Portugal Office Location: Lisbon Work Place type: Hybrid Advert Working at Sage means you’re supporting millions of small and medium sized businesses globally with technology to work faster and smarter.
