As a Product Support Engineer for our Christchurch location, you will engage with customer engineering staff to develop real-time solutions to issues as they arise and contribute towards continuous improvement of processes and procedures

Your Challenge 

Provide technical support and guidance to a global customer base

Prepare and review technical documents / reports to a high standard

Engage with customer engineering staff to develop real-time solutions to issues as they arise

Contribute towards continuous improvement of processes and procedures

Develop a broad product knowledge

Support other departments within the business to resolve technical issues

What You Bring 

All-round engineering skills, with an emphasis on electrical/electronics

A flexible approach to working - Able to adapt to situations as part of a dynamic team

Good communication - Able to discuss technical matters with customers effectively

Practical, hands-on engineering - Capable of repairing electronic equipment

An ability to work with minimum supervision

Able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Access, Outlook)

Previous experience in Avionics or Aerospace industry preferred, but not essential

Previous experience with Technical Authoring / Aviation Publications desirable.
