What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to serve as the Product Support Lead at our Santa Barbara Focalplane facility in Goleta, CA. As the Product Support Lead, you will implement and manage processes for all Logistics and Sustainment Engineering contracts, with a focus on managing the return and repair of fielded IDCs across all programs. In this multidisciplinary role, you will:
• Own and manage the field return hardware process flow from induction to delivery
• Develop and troubleshoot test instructions for defective hardware
• Evaluate and disposition defective hardware
• Identify trends in common failure modes and work to identify root cause/corrective action (RC/CA)
• Maintain and evaluate metrics for returned hardware
• Manage the Product Support supply chain and inventory
• Integrate multiple databases of information
• Manage budgets for all LSE contracts
• Serve as proposal lead for SBF inputs in sustainment BOEs
• Maintain accurate sustainment forecasts for material and labor requirements for projected repair activity
• Interface with customers for all LSE customers and contracts

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 4 years of practical experience
• Knowledge of automated assembly processes
• Experience in packaging and/or processing in an industrial environment
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with analysis
• Excellent engineering documentation and communication skills
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (must be a U.S. Citizen)
Desired Skills:
• Master's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience
• Experience with high-volume semiconductor packaging processes (IR industry experience a plus)
• Knowledge of common IR manufacturing processes, such as:
• Laser welding
• Precision adhesive component attach
• Wire bonding
• Vacuum ovens
• Plasma processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams on complex projects
• Effective communication and interface skills, from technician level to senior management and with customers

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $89,600 - $171,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $103,100 - $194,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
