The Thermo Fisher Scientific HPLC business has been setting decisive and innovative trends for many years in the development, manufacturing and marketing of instruments and software for High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC).
To support our HPLC Product Support Service Training Team in Germering, Germany, we are looking for a Product Support Service Training Specialist (f/m/d).


Key Responsibilities:
Develop and create technical training materials with focus on HPLC productsPlan and conduct online & presence technical trainings for our service organization and internal employeesInternational Support of our service organization for resolving technical issues of our analytical instrumentationResponsible for cross-functional project work and –management (e.g. NPDI, PPI)Efficient communication of field feedback to all relevant departments in order to continuously improve our HPLC product and process quality
Keys to Success:

EducationMasters or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field with a background in chemistry, biochemistry or related or completed scientific education with work experience in a similar activity
ExperienceAt least 3 years’ experience in HPLC or related analytical sciencesSubstantial experiences in analytical technology, mainly HPLC, as a user, service technician or in a supportHands-on experience with LC/MS systems, Xcalibur™ and/or Chromeleon™ software is desirableGood presentation skills. Advanced experience in adult trainingExperience in project management is an advantage
Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesStrong organizational skills, structured working style and attention to detail are key to successAffinity to technical contexts, combined with strong critical thinking, problem solving capabilities, and organizational relationsTake ownership of tasks and drive them to completion within agreed timelinesGood presentation skills. Advanced experience in adult trainingVery good communication skills in German and EnglishGood knowledge of Microsoft Office tools – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPointWillingness to travel (inter)nationally (up to 25%)
