Product Sustainability Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Sustainability Team in Danfoss Climate Solutions as a Product Sustainability Manager. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sustainability initiatives within our product development process. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of product sustainability, project management, product compliance, life cycle assessments, circular products, and data analysis. Proficiency in SAP and Teamcenter PLM Software is highly desirable. Additionally, knowledge of product development processes and sustainability concepts is essential.
 

Job Responsibilities Conduct, interpret and communicate life cycle assessment results to drive decision-making and sustainability improvements. Lead projects focused on product sustainability, including coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring project goals are met on time.  Collaborate with our IT organizations to ensure that our future digital infrastructure is aligned with regulatory and sustainability requirements, including data management and reporting.  Collaborate with stakeholders across the project organization to integrate sustainability principles into product development processes. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to product sustainability. Potentially serve as a Scrum Master for relevant projects, facilitating agile practices and ensuring project success. Background & Skills Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Knowledge of product development processes and new product development methodologies. Proven experience in conducting life cycle assessments and applying sustainability principles in a corporate setting. Strong understanding of SAP and PLM data and processes Familiarity with life cycle assessment software is advantageous. Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Certification as a Scrum Master is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
