Job Summary:
The Product Validation Engineer will be responsible for productization of SiTime’s revolutionary timing devices. We are looking for passionate, self-starters who can work cross-functionally to ensure system-level performance of our products and help solve the world’s toughest timing problems. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.
Responsibilities:
· Validation, characterization, and release-to-production of mixed-signal IC or MEMS-based timing products.
· Work with MEMS and circuit design teams to evaluate new silicon and recommend design improvements for enhanced performance.
· Design, develop, and validate PCB test platforms and firmware to enable automated data acquisition & analysis.
· Develop and transfer algorithms to final test and production environments.
· Perform engineering failure analysis to root cause product issues.
· Innovate and prototype system architectures and new technologies for next-generation products.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
· Strong, fundamental knowledge of mixed signal circuits.
· Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation. Prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters is preferred but not required.
· Excellent programming skills and prior experience with MATLAB and/or Python.
· Strong statistical analysis skills.
