Job Summary

 

The Product Validation Engineer will be responsible for productization of SiTime’s revolutionary timing devices. We are looking for passionate, self-starters who can work cross-functionally to ensure system-level performance of our products and help solve the world’s toughest timing problems. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.

Responsibilities:

Validation, characterization, and release-to-production of mixed-signal IC or MEMS-based timing products.Work with MEMS and circuit design teams to evaluate new silicon and recommend design improvements for enhanced performance.Design, develop, and validate PCB test platforms and firmware to enable automated data acquisition & analysis.Develop and transfer algorithms to final test and production environments.Perform engineering failure analysis to root cause product issues.Innovate and prototype system architectures and new technologies for next-generation products.

 

Qualifications & Requirement:  

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.3+ years of experience in the productization of semiconductor sensor-based devicesStrong, fundamental knowledge of mixed signal circuits.Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation. Prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters is preferred but not required.Excellent programming skills and prior experience with MATLAB and/or Python.Strong statistical analysis skills.
