If you love high profile and challenging projects supporting the US Navy - Serco-NA has a Production Analyst - Maintenance Coordinator role in Mayport FL that will allow you to have influence every day.   As the Maintenance Coordinator you will be working directly with foreign navy crews to help them establish a 3M system on their new ships patterned after the US Navy 3M system.  

 

Your role will include learning the maintenance requirements for a new class of ship and translating those requirements into a 3M system. You will train foreign sailors on how to conduct maintenance, schedule maintenance checks, and maintain the system.   You will also brief program leadership as needed to report any significant issues. 

 

This position is contingent upon the government awarding the contract and your ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance post-employment.

 

Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for providing programmatic, acquisition, engineering, training, post delivery, and production support for PMS 525 FMS for USC, MIW, and unmanned vessels.  In this role, you will work with a US Navy post delivery team, a training team providing system and watchstander training to the crews, and an integration manager focused on preparing the ship and the crew to take custody and sailaway.

  

Specific duties include:

Implement the 3M plan for the MMSC or other ships. Maintain database of all open preventative and corrective maintenance work items. Track 2Kilos and CASREPs. Manages current ships maintenance program database for correction of maintenance items.
Ensure maintenance of combat system elements, computing environments and communication systems will be maintained, according to the MMSC 3M plan, by the Contractor. Performance location of this tasking will occur in Mayport, FL and during ship operations.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field with a minimum of 7 years of experience with US Navy 3M systemMust be able to obtain a security clearance post-employment. Naval shipboard experience and working expertise in ship maintenance.Specialized experience in the design and installation of integrated systems of personnel, materials, machinery, and/or equipment.Experience monitoring ship’s 3M health through data mining techniques and PMS completion data.Travel may be required up to 10%.
