A production analyst will play a vital role in optimizing production efficiency through data analysis and reporting. This person will provide quantitative, analytic support to the business partners on the ground and the management of an array of plants for making strategic, operational and tactical decisions in the areas of production. The main responsibilities include analyzing production data, generating harmonized and high-quality reports and analysis, developing production dashboards, performing benchmarking, creating ad-hoc reports, supporting local production requests, acting as an SAP Superuser and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role steers initiatives aimed at sharing best practices, knowledge and continuous improvement of analytics as well as reporting processes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE
In-depth analysis of production data to identify trends, patterns, and inefficiencies, offering insights and recommendations to improve performance. Generate reports based on the data analysis to provide insights and actionable recommendations for improving production efficiency Develop and maintain production dashboards and KPIs to track and communicate performance trends to stakeholders Perform variance analysis for production KPIs Drive the analysis of factory performance Perform global benchmarking to compare production performance with industry standards and identify areas for improvement Create ad-hoc reports for local manufacturing teams to address specific production issues or requests Support the creation of local purchase requests (PRs) by providing data and analysis to inform decision-making Act as a SAP Superuser and perform SAP tasks related to production data, reporting, and analysis Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement reports and processes that monitor gaps and track improvements Work with Manufacturing Operations to prioritize and sequence productivity improvement projects based on data-driven insights Develop insightful presentations based on gained knowledge and in close collaboration with local/cluster BPs for various meetings Other special projects include working to build, communicate, continuously improve and monitor new processes
EDUCATION, LANGUAGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering 8+ Years of Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex production data Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization tools and software Analytical: Able to translate business requirements in strong visuals Data analysis skills, including proficiency in relevant tools and techniques Good operational knowledge of MS Office software with advanced Excel skills. VBA/Power Query Extensive Experience in data visualization tools (SSRS / Power BI / Google Data Studio ...) Good command of SAP Nice to have: MES / CMMS (e.g. Maximo) /, and other supporting systems Excellent communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to stakeholders Presentation skills Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, quality and data integrity Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities Proficiency in English, both written and oral (C1 level). Additional European languages (DE, FR, NL) appreciated but not required.
