Job DescriptionProduction Planning Responsibilities:Perform Rough Production Planning (RPP) for mid & long term up to 12-18 monthsReview production capacity with manufacturing teamLevel production according to Leveling guidelinesConversion, release & schedule production orders according to levelling patternReschedule planned orders based on possible productionTrack and follow up production output, sub assembly progress & customer order fulfillmentReview leveling adherence and with manufacturing teamDrive production to achieve target output & produce the right mix of SKUs and sub assemblyLiaise with order planner for any unfulfilled ordersDealing with urgent enquiries from customersReview and update weekly plan/order fulfilment in allocation fileMaterials Planning Responsibilities:Review & maintain MRP parameters (eg Lead time, ROP, Rounding values, Lot size, Planning time fence, Coverage profile, Safety stock, Min-max stock level etc) to ensure automatic planning is running smoothly to achieve optimized stock levelRun mini macro for material auto replenishment within warehousesReschedule SA/PO to supplier based on forecast changesClose follow up & obtain delivery confirmation from suppliers. maintain a material supply visibility of minimum 2-3 monthsClose follow up & tracking of materials replenishment status, expedite deliveries to support production & customer ordersBottleneck & allocation management for parts in critical shortage.Supplier delivery performance monitoring & improvementTrack, monitor & manage material phase-in/out and product EOL. Adjust planning according to product & material life cyclePropose last time build to minimize scrap of excess materials before product phase outBe change leader for product discontinuance CR and follow up until CR closureFrequent review of supplier capacityInventory management & control according to TCT target. Analyze stock coverage, define & take proactive actions for stock reductionInventory scrap proposal for no movers & damage stockWork closely with purchasing quality on part return & replacement due to technical issues.Coordinate RTV process for logistics rejects (wrong part / quantity).Air freight cost monitoring & controlLPV Responsibilities :Act as Logistics team member (LPV) for new launches & ALRsSupport samples & pilot runsAttend new project and ALR meetings, contribute actively & work with cross functional team members to achieve timely SOPAttend product launch meeting (PLT) with Launch Manager & update production/delivery status.Analyze feasibility & restrictions to achieve ramp up plan.Ensure materials availability & on time delivery to achieve ramp up plan (RUM)Maintain MM & release pronovia timely & accurately to enable automatic planning.Co-ordinate new material packaging lot size for kanban card preparation before SOP

QualificationsBachelor Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain or equivalent Computer knowledge in SAP and MS Excel is a mustSystematic and reliable work based on defined process Team player with good communication skillsWorking with peoples from different cultures and organizational functionsHigh need for telephone conferences
