About the role
We are seeking a talented Production and Process Engineer to join our Operations team. In this role, you will:
Transform the Business: Design and execute capital improvement projects that deliver measurable improvements in quality, cost, and production.
Support Product Integration and Drive Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new products and product changes while identifying and executing opportunities to enhance productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
Optimise Manufacturing Processes: Drive continuous improvements by designing and implement process flows, testing fixtures, and equipment to ensure robust quality control and operational excellence.
Lead Root Cause Analysis: Investigate product quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Enhance Health and Safety: Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with health and safety best practices, including preparing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

What you will bring
Qualifications: A Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical, process, or equivalent discipline.
Experience: 3+ years of manufacturing experience with hands-on exposure to automation, workshop tools, and machines.
Lean Expertise: Strong understanding and application of Lean and Six Sigma principles, including DMAIC methodology, value stream mapping, and statistical process control (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred).
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in SolidWorks CAD, MS Office (Excel, Word), and statistical software.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions systematically.
Health and Safety Knowledge: Thorough working knowledge of health and safety policy in a manufacturing environment.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
