Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Production Assembler- 2nd Shift. We are a leader in the design and production of critical power distribution products for many specific segments. The Production Assembler- 2nd Shift role offers a full time work week of 40 hours and potential overtime. Hours: 1:45pm-10:15pm. Full Benefits and 401k plan is offered to you day one of employment. You will also be given a $500.00 retention bonus to be paid out after 3 months of employment.
The hourly rate for this position is $22.50 per hour. Comes with a $1.00/hour shift-differential.

What you’ll do:The Assembler will timely and accurately build sub-assemblies and assemblies to customer specifications involving complex and repetitive wiring and mechanics for Power Distribution Units (PDU), and Transformers.
In this function you will:
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to build sub-assemblies and assembliesUse cranes to pick up, and move transformers and materialsBe responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assemblyUse various fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair productPerform point to point wiring during the assembling of Power Distribution UnitsWork with sheetmetal to build transformer legs and additional components related to transformer assemblyInspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and making necessary adjustments when required in order to meet quality goalsAdhere to company, environmental, health, safety rules and regulationsProvide process and safety improvement ideasEnsure machines and tools are properly calibrated and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S+Qualifications:Required (Basic):
