Production Assembler

   The Role

Your mission is, to aid in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of component parts and products.

As a Production Assembler, you will report to Matthew Michael, Production Supervisor

You will assemble fabricated parts and components at floor stations according to the required specifications.

You will test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

You will Identify units that fail test/tolerance levels and repair them.

You will transport fabricated parts and assemblies where they need to go.

You will complete the required paperwork and documents.

You will perform accurate measurements in the assembly process.

You will keep your work area clean and tidy

You will be expected to occasionally work in other areas as needed.  

You will follow established safety procedures and wear the required safety equipment.

You will support in maintaining and improving the QMS and ISO 9001 certification.

You will work onsite #LI-Onsite at our Michigan City facility, Dekker Vacuum.

You have 1 or more years of experience in assembly of fabricated and component parts and products.

You have a high school diploma or equivalent.

You have mechanical ability and knowledge of assembly processes

You have forklift experience.

You can read and use measuring tools.

You can manually lift up to 50lbs or utilize power lifting equipment to assemble and transport assemblies.

You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language.
