The Production Assembler is responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies in accordance with established standards and processes/procedures.

 

Position currently located in Ruckersville, VA.

 

Pay is $18.25

 

Monday thru Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Responsibilities Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, drawing specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materialsAssembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.Verifies specifications by measuring completed componentMaintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsDocuments actions by completing production and quality formsInspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnelContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededReport problems with quality, processes, equipment, and material to Production SupervisorWillingness to cross train on all areas of production floor Qualifications Ability to maintain quality, and safety standardsGood communication skills, including the ability to read and writeAbility to understand and follow safety proceduresAbility to lift and manipulate heavy objectsAbility to perform simple arithmeticAbility to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel

Education, Experience, Skills Required:

High school diploma or equivalent preferredCandidate must have good organizational skills.   Working knowledge of basic toolsWorks well with others.
