Production Supervisor
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels. The work model for the role is:#LI-onsite. This role is contributing to the Production Manufacturing team in Napier. Main stakeholders are IPU (Integrated Production Unit) Leader, Planning and Fulfilment Team, Manufacturing Engineers and Quality and Production Development Team.You will be mainly accountable for:•Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.•Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.•Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.•Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.Our team dynamic is collaborative, with a focus on efficient problem-solving, mutual support, and maintaining high-quality standards to meet production goals.You will join a dynamic, a highly-performing team, where you will be able to thrive
Qualifications for the roleYou are highly skilled in working with assembly tools, methodologies, and processes relevant to the manufacturing industry.Demonstrate established skills with number of years in assembly operations, including reading and interpreting technical diagrams, instructions, or blueprints for systems, panels, or products.Highly adept in operating light hand tools and following standardized operating procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.Passionate about precision, quality control, and teamwork, with a keen focus on safety and continuous improvement.Proven experience or formal qualification in manufacturing or related fields.At ease communicating and understanding technical requirements in English.You hold a valid New Zealand work permit or visa, allowing you to work legally in the role.
