With engineering, manufacturing, and quality-assurance teams all located under one roof, Foresight Sports offers complete, vertically integrated solutions for every segment of the market.** **JOB OVERVIEW** Supports any one of the Production, SIAB (Sim in a Box) or RMA/repair teams to ensure that quality product is completed per schedule in the most efficient manner possible. Can perform all subassemblies, tests, and calibration within the assigned device team per the specific work and fixture instructions. Can rework devices or subassemblies. Has some capability to identify failure analysis and root cause of failures. Provides input to the Production Lead & Mfg. Engineers on the work instructions for their specific assembly assignment. Is expected to make lean improvement recommendations regarding efficient assembly. This position reports to a Production Lead and is based out of our San Diego office. **As the Production Assembler II, you will have an opportunity to:** + Ensures that assigned device production, SIAB or RMA/repair items are assembled & completed with the highest expected quality per schedule in the most efficient manner possible. + Assists with lean manufacturing improvement training, evaluates, and implements process & cost improvement ideas within production group. + Identifies & communicates discrepant floor parts & assembly failures with the Mfg. Engineer & Quality Assurance team regarding the MRB (Material Review Board). + Assists with assembly work instructions that include tools, fixtures & equipment required, consumables needed and step-by-step instructions with associated pictures that meet all safety standards. Assists with assembly training videos. + Performs failure and root cause analysis for rejected devices or assemblies. + Other duties and tasks upon request from the Production Supervisor. **You have the qualifications below that are necessary for someone to fill this position:** + High School education required. + Must have 3-5 years of experience. + Good motor skills and the ability to do fine assembly & repair work. + Good interpersonal & team communication skills. + Adheres to all Foresight Sports safety policies. + Highly motivated, detailed, accurate and dependable to improve production efficiency & safety for the company. Able to work autonomously to receive a moderate level of guidance. + Uses prescribed guidelines & processes to identify & communicate production problems & needs. + Physical requirement: Able to lift and move 50 pounds and perform computer actions daily. Committed to all safety and ergonomic programs & policies. **You might have:** + Electronics assembly knowledge **Pay Range:** Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
