JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a motivated Production Assistant to join the # 1 National Cable Morning Show, Fox & Friends First.  The sky is the limit for someone eager to learn and grow in this fast-paced and dynamic industry. As a Production Assistant, you will work to coordinate live guests, create content, and work closely with show producers. You are someone who is creative and has a competitive spirit. 

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

Coordinate remote live shots Create research packets for show segmentsServe as quality control for video elementsProduce guest segments and reporter hits while coordinating with studio and field crewsProduce content for social media platformsPitch story ideas and be willing to see them through from start to finish 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience1-2 years TV news or communications experienceGreat communication skills, terrific attitude and proven team playerStrong digital and social media skillsWillingness to pitch in on any and all projects

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $18.25-25.00 per hour for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $15.00-20.75 per hour for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
