Production Associate

 

Role description:

The Selector inspects and packs glass containers on production lines.

 

Compensation and Schedule:

$23.65 Hourly Rate

Must be willing to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts

 

Responsibilities:

Reselect and/or replace ware as required Visually inspect glass containers for defects to ensure conformance to specifications Inspect cartons and interiors for damage and pack acceptable ware into specified shipping containers Discard defective ware into cullet conveyor or proper receptacle for removal Unjam carton and ware conveyor systems equipment and case packers to maintain the flow of product Report defects and machine malfunctions to Auditors and Supervisor Maintain safety through good housekeeping and good work methods

 

Minimum skills / qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Effective communication skills Must be able to stand for 8 hours Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds

 

Preferred skills / qualifications:

Experience working in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of specialized inspection methods including gauging and testing equipment Stable work history with no gaps in employment history
