Production Associate

Production Associates are responsible for performing a variety of tasks and processes to complete electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies including but not limited to solder, cable assembly, machine operation, final assembly, PCB, machine crimping and ribbon cable assembly. Production Associates must be able to follow established methods and procedures to ensure these tasks are completed as directed by manufacturing schedules with limited supervision

Production Associate Accountabilities

• Function as a participating team member.

• Hand soldering of wires to electrical connectors and PCB’s.

• Assemble electromechanical assemblies as required.

• Review and complete required production documentation.

• Update job status in EPICOR Systems as required.

• Maintain a safe and orderly work area.

• Performs related duties as required.

Skills and Abilities:

• Accurate visual acuity for color and depth perception

• Vision sufficient to accurately measure in fraction of an inch

• Manual dexterity to handle small hand tools including soldering iron

• Read and understand moderately complex assembly instructions

• Comprehend written and verbal assignments

• Ability to work as a team member in a diverse work environment

Advanced soldering and repair / rework skillsAbility to use solder extractor tools Basic computer skills - accurate with data entrySuggest ideas to improve efficiency

• Good math skills with ability to count and measure

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $16.50-18.00 per hour (for hourly employees)  Full-time employees are also eligible for performance based bonuses and benefits.  This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, location, and shift.  The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and hours worked.
