PURPOSE:

Berry Global is looking for a production associate.  As a member of this team, you will be responsible for operating thermoplastic extruders and associated production equipment to convert plastic resins into blown film for flexible plastic sheeting, tubing or bags, and efficiently producing a finished product on a timely basis that meets all customer product specifications.

Responsibilities Alert Setup Technician and Changeover Technician using the light system to keep them informed of production statusKeep the work area clean and clutter free: pick up scrap material around the production lines and cut scrap off cores.Perform quality control checks on product and ensure all are properly labeled before stacking finished product.Packages bags/rolls and keeps accurate counts in computer systemHelps the team give 10 and 20 minute breaksAlerts Setup Techs to questions or concerns by utilizing white stack lightAssembles boxesPerforms quality control checks on product and labelsStacks finished productHelp pick up scrap around his/her lines, including change-over rolls.Throws away all labels from previous jobKeeps work area clean and clutter free; including tables, scales and floorsWeighs boxes and enters into the computer systemPulls resin as neededWeighs, packages and labels finished productMight be used for training new person.
