Position: Production Associate I
Location: Wausau, WI
Wage: Starting at $21.66 up to $24.72
After 90 day probationary period, increase to level 2 at $23.50.

Shift: *Must be able to work both 2nd & 3rd Shift*
2nd shift: 3PM - 11PM
3rd shift: 11PM - 7AM (Week Starts on Sunday Night)

2nd shift premium - $0.50
3rd shift premium - $1.00

While reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, the following job description outlines the essential functions of each level of role within the tooling department. The following lists are not exhaustive, and the employee in each of these roles is expected to assume any and all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in the following.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Operators are required to maintain a satisfactory attendance recordFinished goods must be within specification and quality expectationsAbility to manipulate objects demonstrating mental/muscular coordinationWork schedule is 40-56 hours/week (this may include 10-12 hour days and/or some weekend work)Lifting 10#-40#, often carrying up to 20#Bending, twisting, reaching frequentlyRepetitive arm, wrist, hand, and finger movementContinuous standing/walking on concrete surfaceAccurate calculation and documentation of production and scrap information as requiredFunction as part of departmental team to maintain 6S levels and participate in area audits and other plant initiativesCarry out additional duties as requested by supervisor

High school graduate with basic math and reading skillsAbility to communicate effectively as well as follow direction and provide feedback as requestedCapable of basic computer navigation and entry for production and quality systems
