Reports to: Logistics Manager/Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities: Parts and Material Transportation: Operate motor vehicles to transport automotive parts, tools, and materials between production areas and storage facilities. Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to support production schedules and minimize downtime. Material Handling and Equipment Use: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-moving equipment as needed. Load and unload materials onto vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Inventory and Documentation: Verify part counts, labels, and quality during pick-up and delivery. Maintain accurate records of parts and materials movement in tracking systems. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to traffic laws and workplace safety standards when operating vehicles or equipment. Conduct pre-operational vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with production teams, warehouse staff, and supervisors to prioritize tasks. Respond to urgent requests for parts and materials delivery as required. Support Production Goals: Assist with organizing and maintaining storage areas to ensure easy access to materials. Provide general support to production and logistics teams as needed, including overtime shifts. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. License: Minimum of a G2 Driver’s License (valid in Ontario). Driving Record: Clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions. Background Check: Clean criminal background check. Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada. Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed. Skills and Attributes: Dependable: Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility. Safety-Oriented: Committed to following safety protocols and regulations. Team Player: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work well in a fast-paced environment. Physically Fit: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks that require standing or walking for extended periods.
