Job Description

Join our team in producing high-quality butter products. As a Production Associate, you will operate churns according to specified procedures, maintain cleanliness, and ensure sanitary production processes. Your role is crucial in maintaining the quality and safety standards required by FDA, USDA, and company policies.

ResponsibilitiesOperate churns to the required specifications and according to standard operating procedures (S.O.P.s).Accurately complete required information on charts, checklists, run logs, cleaning documents, and other related forms.Clean the Evaporator, Separator, tanks, lines, Homogenizer, and other equipment to produce sanitary products.Disassemble and assemble Separator, Presses, Pumps, Valves, and other equipment for inspection and cleaning.Take sanitary samples as required in a timely manner.Maintain a clean work area, ensuring floors, buckets, and brushes are properly stored.Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as mandated by FDA, USDA, State, and company policies.Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Essential SkillsExperience in manufacturing, general production work, GMP, food production, and warehouse operations.Knowledge of sanitation practices in food production.Ability to lift 55 pounds repetitively throughout the shift.Capability to stand on concrete for 8+ hours.Mechanically inclined with experience in equipment operation.Additional Skills & QualificationsFood manufacturing experience is a plus, including experience from restaurants or fast food.Sit-down forklift experience is highly desirable.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position is within a food manufacturing environment, which is extremely strict and clean. Contractors cannot wear loose clothing, hoodies, shirts with buttons, fake nails, makeup, fake eyelashes, or jewelry. Hair and beard nets are required. Uniforms will be provided, and employees must wear shirts and jeans without holes, along with sneakers or boots. The first shift operates from 6 am to 2 pm or 4 pm, depending on production needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of STRASBURG, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $42.57
