**Job Title: Production Associate**
**Job Description**
Prepare and cook food products by following specific recipes and production instructions. Accurately measure and mix ingredients, operate cooking equipment, and ensure products meet quality standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow specific recipes and production instructions to prepare food products.
+ Accurately measure and mix ingredients according to the recipe.
+ Operate cooking equipment such as mixers and blenders to cook food products to the required specifications.
+ Regularly inspect food products during and after cooking to ensure they meet quality standards.
+ Monitor and record temperatures of food products and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
+ Set up and calibrate cooking and packaging machinery before production runs.
+ Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure it operates efficiently.
+ Identify and resolve any issues with equipment during production.
+ Keep work areas clean and organized, following sanitation guidelines, including GMPs and HAACP procedures.
+ Clean and sanitize cooking equipment and utensils after use.
+ Keep track of ingredient inventory levels and report shortages to supervisors.
+ Assist in receiving and storing incoming ingredients and supplies.
+ Rotate stock to ensure the use of older ingredients first (FIFO - First In, First Out).
**Essential Skills**
+ HAACP and GMP Experience - 1+ Year
+ Food Manufacturing - 1+ Year
+ Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
+ Attention to detail
+ Good communication skills
+ Ability to stand for long periods
+ Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs repetitively)
+ Ability to perform repetitive tasks
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Previous experience in food production or a similar role is preferred
+ A proactive attitude and ability to work independently

**Work Environment**
Work in a clean food manufacturing environment with a team of 12-15 people, depending on the season. The typical shift is from 3 AM to Noon, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
