Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Press Helper to join their team. As a Press Helper, you will be part of the production department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Press Helper
**Location:** Columbia, SC

**What's the Job?**
+ Routinely initiate die changes and assist with die washing.
+ Support all necessary changeovers and related activities to execute the required production schedule.
+ Monitor production lines hourly to check transfer points and ensure product quality.
+ Load powder ingredients and perform cleaning of equipment.
+ Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and maintain a hazard-free work area.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Minimum of 3 years work experience in manufacturing, preferably in food manufacturing.
+ Basic math skills, especially using a tape measure.
+ Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
+ Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and work in high-temperature environments.
