Production Worker

Location: 7200 Investment Dr, North Charleston, South Carolina, 29418-8302, United State

Shift Times:  Day 7am – 7pm   OR  Night  7pm – 7am

**Alternate between 36 hours a week and 48 hours a week**

Schedule: 36hours/48hours/36hours/48 hours- Each Month

Pay: DAY Shift – 18  NIGHT Shift – 19.50

Overtime is built into schedule: 4 hours extra overtime within two weeks – reflective of a higher pay

Environment: Indoor and outdoor conditions



Responsibilities:

·       Loading and Unloading: Manually stack giant bags of fertilizer onto pallets, ensuring proper securing and balancing of loads.

·       Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to transport pallets of fertilizer to the shipping and receiving department.

·       Inventory Management: Utilize RF scanning equipment to manage and track inventory accurately.

·       Order Picking and Wrapping: Pick orders and wrap them for shipment, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment.

·       Operational Efficiency: Optimize loads to enhance operational efficiency and streamline warehouse processes.

·       Damage Inspection: Conduct regular inspections to identify any damages to vehicles and report issues promptly.

·       Shipping and Receiving: Assist in the shipping and receiving of goods, verifying accuracy and condition of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
