Production Associate I
Job Description SummaryDuties/Responsibilities:
•\tFollows work procedures and schematics including complex instructions regarding duties to be performed.
•\tPerforms manufacturing/assembly operations and various tasks following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets.
•\tDemonstrated ability to perform all Production I responsibilities.
•\tPerform mid-level manufacturing/assembly/refurbishment operations
•\tWorks independently and performs mid-level rework and testing's when required
•\tMaintains daily production output.
•\tCheck/review final product paperwork
•\tTrained on all functions on the assigned line or cross trained in multiple areas
•\tIdentify, report, and investigate defects.
•\tFollows all EHS and Quality policies and procedures.
•\tParticipates in quality control inspections when required.
•\tWorks with team leaders, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.
•\tAssist with the implementation of process improvements to increase quality/productivity and to reduce cycle time.
•\tOther duties as assigned and may be asked to be included in quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams.
•\tPerforming more advanced and complex assembly and testing when required
•\tTrains other team members when required.
•\tComply with EHS regulations and policies Required Qualifications:


Required Skills/Abilities/Work Scope
•\tAbility to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed.
•\tDemonstrated ability to pay attention to details and quality-minded work habits.
•\tDemonstrated ability to communicate with co-workers and leadership.
•\tAbility to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
•\tDirect day to day work in assigned area.
•\tDemonstrated ability to work at multiple workstations, to multitask, to be flexible in shifting task, an to be cross trained to do so

Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent
• Minimum of 6 to 12 months of related manufacturing experience
Physical Requirements:
•\tProlonged periods standing and walking.
•\tAble to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
•\tMust be able to visually inspect machines.
•\tMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
