**DESCRIPTION**
**Job Summary:**
Operate machines and production equipment following quality and productivity standards in a safe manufacturing environment, receiving direct guidance and support as needed.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):**
+ Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately.
+ Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
+ Follow HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations; use personal protective equipment.
+ Contribute to a safe environment by correcting hazards within control, recognizing environmental impacts, and engaging in HSE training.
+ **Quality:**
+ Follow all standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.
+ Raise issues to minimize cost and quality risks.
+ Perform quality inspections, identify and control non-conforming materials.
+ **Delivery:**
+ Operate manual and automated equipment to meet required characteristics and dimensions.
+ Meet production goals by working at the defined cycle time or engineering standard.
+ Maintain a clean, orderly workspace through housekeeping tasks and planned operator care.
+ Support equipment maintenance and work flexibly to meet production targets.
+ **Teamwork:**
+ Communicate effectively with team members and support staff.
+ Engage in training and development as per business needs.
+ Actively participate in quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development improvements.

**Qualifications:**
+ **Education:**
+ Preferable Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
+ **Licenses/Certifications:**
+ May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions.
**Experience:**
+ **Work Experience:**
+ 2-4 years of experience in Engine/Genset assembly and testing preferred.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Skills/Knowledge:**
+ **Core Responsibilities:**
+ Perform Engine/Genset testing as per schedule.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues as they arise.
+ Actively participate in safety and quality initiatives.
+ Maintain and improve workplace housekeeping.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement projects (e.g., Kaizen, O tags).
+ **Technical Skills:**
+ Knowledge of diesel engine fundamentals.
+ Understanding of electronic engines and engine wiring harnesses.
+ Adherence to safety PPE and workplace safety norms.
