**DESCRIPTION**
**Job Summary:**
Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):**
+ Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
+ Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
+ Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
+ Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
+ Promote interdependence by looking out for one another.
+ Correct hazards within your control and capabilities.
+ Recognize the environmental impact of your work and work to minimize it.
+ Engage actively in HSE training programs.
**Quality:**
+ Follow all standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke, and visual standards.
+ Identify and address issues to minimize cost and quality risks.
+ Perform quality inspections and control non-conforming materials.
**Delivery:**
+ Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to meet customer expectations.
+ Demonstrate high competency in core work skills and achieve production goals.
+ Work at the required cycle time or as per defined engineering standards.
+ Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.
+ Perform operator care and maintenance tasks.
+ Remain flexible and complete other miscellaneous duties as required.
+ Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and identify equipment requiring repair.

**Education, Licenses, and Certifications:**
+ High school diploma, secondary education certificate, or equivalent experience.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Experience:**
+ Requires some work experience or intermediate knowledge gained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
**Skills:**
+ Hands-on experience in machining, including line installation and commissioning.
+ Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders.
+ Knowledge of jigs, fixtures, and tooling essential for machining operations.
