\nThe Production Clerk is responsible for proactively maintaining production reporting and material issue/return transactions. This position has ownership for the production reporting process and is responsible for complete and accurate communication to all levels of the operations team.
Provide support and assist in many different departments. Shop floor reporting into PRMS system. Maintain scrap, productivity and downtime reports on a daily basis. Close and maintain all manufacturing work orders. Generate workorder labels to support production. Oversee the distribution and collection of all released workorders to the production floor-maintain sign out logbook. Generate visual management reports for posting in plant to include hardcopies to management. Perform hourly checks of released workorders in actively running in production to ensure operator reporting accuracy/thoroughness and log all discrepancies. Maintain reports on inks, glues and coatings inventory. Work collaboratively with supervisors and leads to have identified issues addressed and corrected. Handle all period ending and closing activities for assigned shift. Actively participate in annual YE Physical Inventory counts and assist in the development of all associated processes and procedures. Enter daily production performance information into the assigned excel spreadsheets. Assist material handlers and operators to correct / address WMS scanning issues. Enter IT support tickets / when required. Conform to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s). Conform to Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures and policies to assure products are suitable for direct food contact. Responsible for reporting any product quality or food safety issues to the Quality Assurance Manager (SQF Practitioner) or Management Team member. \n High school diploma required. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, along with Microsoft Office Suite knowledge. 3-5 years’ experience in a clerical position is required. Strong organization and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is required. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
