PRODUCTION CONTROL ASSISTANT

Job Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in store fixtures and retail displays, with diverse divisions in wood, plastic, and metal. They are currently seeking one Production Control Assistant  to join their team.

Job Title: CNC Programmer (1 Position Available)

Location: Hwy 7 / Pine Valley Dr.  

Salary: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour 

Employment Type: Temp to Perm (after 3 months)

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm

Responsibilities

. Create and maintain Accurate BOMs, Routings, and Work Centre data

. Ensure that all data is updated in a timely and efficient manner

. Continuously improve BOM and Routing accuracy and effectiveness

. Create and schedule work orders as needed

. Assist Production Control Team in all areas including administrative duties

. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities & Requirements

. High school diploma or equivalent

. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in similar role

. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

. Very detail oriented, able to plan effectively and set priorities and meeting deadlines

. Strong knowledge in Metal Fabrication

. Analysis & organizational skills

. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings

. Experience with ERP Systems

. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
