Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Production Control Coordinator. The hourly rate for this position is $34.00 per hour. What you’ll do:Eaton’s Power Systems Division is currently seeking a Production Control Coordinator to join our team. This position is based at our Innovative Switchgear Solutions Business in Broomfield, CO.
Position Overview:
The ISG Facility is a leader in the design, development, manufacturer and delivery of mid-range switchgear and components for the utility markets. This role drives on-time delivery through material flow planning and ensuring optimal scheduling of production units.

In this function you will:
• Manage material flow (WIP – “work in process”) through analysis of diverse reports and perform critical analysis to avoid operation disruptions caused by material availability or constraints. Manage the work order function which entails, but is not limited to, expediting late, or issuing components, maintaining MRP planning parameters, creation/closure of all work orders based on established ERP best practices, and managing rework of reusable core parts.
• Analyze inventory levels and meet DOH objectives through ABC strategy. Actively support timely disposition of deviated materials and return-to-vendor of defective parts. Manage cycle count, inventory adjustments, and root cause analysis to prevent inventory errors
• Establish optimal inventory levels to achieve desired service, while utilizing just in time inventory management philosophies. Coordinate with procurement to prioritize material needs.
• Manage Production order release and coordinate with master scheduler.
• Procure expense and direct materials.
• Investigate COGIs (see attached….its somewhat dated information, but we have not made significant progress in getting better….we fix the specific issues, but every single month we have similar ones). COGIs drive inventory inaccuracies, std hours inaccuracies, all kinds of problems
• Support Supervisor on work cell scheduling with released orders/available labor/timing of ancillary demand relative to top line sales orders
• Assist in BOM procurement typing and collaborate with engineering in RFQ activities.
• Maintain and update Kanban set ups.
• Continuous Improvement – works to drive continuous improvement in material quality and delivery; uses data to support decision making and related improvements; initiates and actively supports continuous improvement opportunities; participates in rapid improvement events. Looks for and develops solutions to issues with existing processes and procedures. Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and techniques which will improve the planning and inventory function. Actively participate in process improvement and creation/adhering to standard work. Own the metrics of past due order production, on-time delivery of units to internal and external customers, and work order accuracy. Update production tracking and report out on status to desired targets. Resolve capacity issues by prioritizing scheduling and suggestions.
• Any other activities as assigned by the Materials Manager.

Required Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-4 years’ supply chain or materials experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future.
• Will be required to work onsite at our Broomfield, CO site
• No relocation is offered for this role. Candidates must reside within 50 fifty miles of the Broomfield, CO facility.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration from an accredited school or related field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience performing material planning in Supply Chain or Manufacturing
• Thorough knowledge of materials management, lean manufacturing, product scheduling, MRP/ERP, and SAP systems experience.
• Lean or Six Sigma Certification a definite plus.
• Strong PC Skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), especially strong Microsoft Excel skills.
