Production Control Engineer

\t\t\t\t\t

Candidate will be doing the following:Monitor the production condition for the entire plant and each shop•\tCalculate overtime required based on shop and plant performance, as well as shop inventory conditions•\tCreate quarterly, shift, daily, and monthly reports for a variety of items such as: Production Results, Downtime, Buy-off Compliance, Month to Date, Model Year to Date•\tMonitor the production systems, particularly G-ALC, to ensure production information is being properly distributed to the production floor.•\tMonitor and manage The Final Storage System (FSS) to ensure a smooth flow of vehicles with the correct production ratios enter Assembly•\tAddress issues and abnormalities that may impact a shop’s capability to achieve their targets, or have an impact to another shop, or the plant as a whole (Regular and Crisis Management)•\tLead On-time delivery coordination with the production team to ensure vehicles are not delivered late to our customer.•\tProvide history reports to Production and Quality Shops to support investigations. •\tConfirm the daily download of new vehicle orders are correct and without converter issues•\tCoordinate the in-system scrap and re-start of vehicles.•\tManage ratio change timing visualization monthly and communicate to the plant organizationManage system requirements as needed to accommodate any production related restrictions to ensure a smooth production flow.

Bachelor degree in industrial engineering or business1-3 yrs experience in production control, automotive manufacturing/manufacturing experience.Analytical thinkingexcellent communicator- will be communicating with different area of the plant such as assembly, bodyweld/paint, productionCandidate must be flexible with hours. Will work day and night shift. 6:00am- 3:30pm or 6:00pm- 3:30am or 7/8pm-6:30amProficient with MS Office- Excel- Macro creation is a plusPower BI is a plusTraining:Hands on training- Shadowing partners. Will teach one system at a time.Weekly/Daily coaching as needed
