Production Control Export Coordinator 1st Shift, 6:30AM - 3PM, Monday – Friday $20-$30/hour DOE

RESPONSIBILITY:
+ Support for McGard’s export operation. Produce production documents for the assembly floor. Involved in research and planning current and future shipments based on customer due dates/delivery dates.
JOB DUTIES:
+ Consolidate and process export orders and shipments per IATF requirements and internal procedures.
+ Prepare, process, and monitor regularly scheduled air and ocean/boat shipments.
+ Audit inventory on a weekly basis to ensure accurate numbers ensuring adequate stock.
+ Customer Relationship Management. Research and communicate information from Japan and Germany customer inquiries.
+ Investigate any stock discrepancies and adjust accordingly.
+ Monitor parts in process (in production/on P.O) and create production orders for any assembly needed for shipment.
+ Review and update the parts request list to LDM, provided by all planners on one master request list. Remove completed parts daily.
+ Inter departmental collaboration on production order preparation for McGard assembly floor based upon customer ship/delivery dates.
+ Communicate with McGard floor departments, shipping department and material handling department to ensure planned shipments are correct and ship out on schedule.
+ Work with management and floor to prioritize and expedite orders.
+ Engage with the sales department and/or engineering department when a solution to a problem needs to be answered.
+ Attend meetings to build relationships and keep current with key departments.
+ Responsible for McGard Japan and/or McGard Germany weekly air and boat shipments as well as customers and on-time product fulfillment for international shipments.
+ Partner with management in the direction and decisions relative to floor department operations.
+ Data entry, reporting, and regular follow-up on assigned customer and/or department fulfillment goals.
+ Provide back-up support for fellow export coordinators as needed.
EDUCATION / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
+ Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
+ High school diploma or general education (GED). Two (2) year college degree preferred.
+ Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
+ Four (4) years of related experience.
+ Strong keyboarding, data entry, and math skills.
+ Strong organizational, time management skills, and problem-solving skills.
