The Production Control Manager drives execution of the short-term Supply Plan/Sales for a specific asset grouping/grouping of production areas, ensuring efficient flow of material and escalation/resolution of any road blocks or missed expectations. This role is expected to have high visibility on the production floor, collaborating with production supervisors on master scheduling, and in management execution tracking meetings, highlighting progress, loss and impact of operational execution trade-off scenarios.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrives output of large asset grouping to meet forecast expectations through efficient flow of material and stewardship of the master production schedule.Owns and considered responsible subject matter expert on Lean Flow production in-process line-balancing kanbans in Asset Grouping which govern production asset loading levels. Alters in-process kanban designs for mix changes/builds for major outages. Works with Planning on needed Supermarket safety stock sizing.Identifies/Reports leading and lagging indicators to demonstrate daily/weekly progress to execution plan, keeping within manufacturing spend and inventory targets; communicates impact of any fall-behind and catch-up plansHas wider view of all other Asset Groups that affect own execution to drive best scenario outcome with other PC Managers, Identifies, resolves or escalates between-work cell flow challenges and quantifies impact. escalating to Operations Managers and Site Managers as needed.Manages MRP Planner/Schedulers under Asset Grouping to rectify work cell system data such as work center capacity, outages, production order scheduling, and production order late risk that drive both short term execution progress, and mid-term leadtime quoting for forecast planning.Escalates impact concerns and true view of the production floor (production plan adherence) to Operations and Supply Chain management. Expected to be called upon weekly (Monthly, Quarterly) to report directly to Leadership on progress to forecast and trade-off execution scenariosOther tasks as requiredQualifications:

Required:Preferred: College Educated -OR- commiserate experience in production environments.Experience – Describe experience required and preferred, including years of experience. Experience can include types of work, prolonged schooling, environments or situations/settings.
Required: Experience as production coordinator or higher AND scheduling background.Preferred: Experience as production supervisor AND Planning/scheduling background.Years of Experience: 10Understanding of end-to-end planning and supply chain managementExperience in using and improving systems (SAP ERP and Oracle preferred)Proven people and line management experienceKnowledge of processes in sales, marketing operations, finance and manufacturing.Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once.emonstrated ability to achieve KPIs like plan accuracy improvement, process adherence, stock turns, return on investment and project completion.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
