PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SCHEDULING)
Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SCHEDULING), Position Description Number NGD2510000 and is part of the TN 164th AW, Air National Guard. This vacancy is covered by Association of Civilian Technicians (ACT), Chapter 115 (Pyramid on the River Chapter). Responsibilities As a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SCHEDULING), GS-1152-09, you will be responsible for advising, planning and coordinating aircraft maintenance requirements and utilization scheduling between maintenance, operations, and external organizations. Review both immediate and long-range requirements based on current workload forecasts and conditioned based maintenance and develop plans for obtaining resources to meet production requirements. Maintain historical documents and maintenance data essential for aircraft records accuracy. Develop and maintain job standard master listings (JML) for assigned equipment in the MIS in coordination with functional work centers. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: E-5 through E-6 Compatible Military Assignments: 2R2XX ***PD subject to change; pending PD rewrite from NGB due to 2R1 and 2R0 AFSC merger.*** GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training in quantitative terms, communicating orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 24 months or 1 year at the next lower-level specialized experience, education or training scheduling workflow in more than one area and responsible for coordinating products or materials from support activities. Experience in performing or supervising journeyman level work in a production facility. Experience preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes.
