Overview
Do you have a knack for leading a team of individuals to achieve defined goals and objectives?
We’re looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Production Coordinator with successful experience supervising small teams of hourly associates, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Also critical to success is light industrial experience with product packaging in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Provides hands-on line leadership, supervision, training, and mentorship to assigned Production Associates who perform tasks including packaging, auditing and packing products for customer orders in a manufacturing environment. Serves as backup on the production line as needed.
Responsible for setup, operation, and adjustment for product changeover of packaging equipment for various home and health-oriented products. Performs daily equipment maintenance and upkeep duties including cleaning of machine/equipment and work area and documenting cleaning logs. Inspects and maintains quality of product being produced in accordance with established Good Manufacturing Practices cleanliness and safety guidelines. Ensures product components are used in lot sequence and required reports, labels, and other paperwork and data are entered in the computer as needed. Works alongside team members when needed to ensure effective productivity.
Enhances employee relations with assigned team members by communicating effectively with them and encouraging them to develop themselves, thus facilitating effective teamwork. Oversees productivity, efficiency, and accuracy of manufacturing line while ensuring compliance with established operational and safety procedures. Ensures inventory stocks are maintained, and line positions are adequately staffed to operate. Maintains records and prepares reports on speed and accuracy of associates compared to established standards and reports to supervisor.
