We are looking for a Production Coordinator who will assist our Project teams to ensure world-class production delivery for our Sydney-based (but also sometimes Australia-based) pipeline of experiences.
The production coordinator is a pivotal part of the team. They assist in the delivery of production element of events. This includes venue, construction, technical systems, labour and crewing, plant and machinery, signage, wayfinding, and event operational systems. The production coordinator also assists in the successful local advance and for third party touring productions (international or interstate).
The production coordinator will be integrated into the APAC team and support multiple production management teams as required throughout. There may be a requirement for domestic travel.
The role is suited to a person who is eager to further their career in the events industry. There is potential for growth within the role including opportunities to lead productions, while being supported by the leadership team.
Researching venues for production. Briefing suppliers and attaining quotes for supply and services. Assisting in the scheduling of install, operational and removal of events and exhibitions. Coordinating maintenance crew of events & exhibitions. Providing support to onsite teams, including site check-ins. Forming relationships with key suppliers. Managing a small petty cash / credit card float. Escalating issues to the production manager. Coordinating crew, fielding messages and call. Participating in production and internal meetings Researching and keep up to date on new and emerging technologies, construction methodologies and entertainment processes. Compiling compliance documentation bespoke to each event. Assisting in the creation of production documentation.

You are in the formative years of your career in event production. You have an eagerness to learn and have strong attention to detail both practically and creatively. You enjoy an environment where planning & delivery of concurrent projects is your day to day.
You build strong relationships with staff, suppliers, contractors, and venues to succeed in delivery and area great communicator.
You’re a get it done person, you enjoy working across many projects and don’t mind throwing your skills at any challenge.
In addition, you will:
Have a diploma or HSC level experience in event management, theatre, hospitality or project management. Experience in events, theatre, exhibitions, galleries, music, or touring. Strong time management and organisational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Confident in the use of excel. Ability or experience of scheduling. Hold a current drivers license. Be a great communicator, in all of its forms.
The type of projects produced by Fever are varied and require understanding or skills in a variety of areas. While we don’t expect you to know about them all, a keen understanding, and the willingness to be educated is a must!

Technical Systems
Experience with any of the following at a school, voluntary or professional capacity;
lighting, audio, video, LED, projection.
Construction Print & Scenic
Workplace Health and Safety
Experience creating and reviewing Risk and Method Statements.
Event Operations
Experience of catering, cleaning, and waste operations in any context. Experience of ticketing and marketing operations.
Production documentation
Drafting for entertainment skills (E.g. AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Rhino) Proficient in the use of the Microsoft and Google suite particularly Excel & Google sheets. Adobe Creative Suite use in particular Photoshop, Illustrator or Indesign.WHY FEVER
