Production Coordinator
**Job Description:** THE OPPORTUNITY The Production Coordinator will manage monitor all production aspects of the scheduling and timely delivery of audiobook productions for Scholastic Audio and Weston Woods. Reports directly to Director of Production. RESPONSIBILITIES + Oversee and manage all aspects of audio production scheduling, including maintenance of schedules and report spreadsheets and lead review status of all productions in process during weekly production meetings. Responsible for timely delivery of audio productions in accordance with established publication schedule. Manage scheduling of in-house sound engineer and vocal booth. Manage scheduling of outside studios, producers and narrator. Manage and schedule work with freelance editors and executive producers. Maintain database of audiobook talent and vendors. + Create and track prepub budget spreadsheet, including estimates of production costs, recording length and number of CDs. Monitor production spend and reconcile monthly. Track, submit, and code invoices for approval and payment. + Oversee delivery of assets to vendors + Monitor rights acquisitions and renewals for Weston Woods and coordinate with legal for the drafting of agreements and renewals + Other duties as assigned by the Head of Production + Handle administration of vendor setups for new talent and coordinate with legal for the drafting of talent and vendor agreements.
