Production Coordinator

Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a Production Coordinator to join our growing team.

This position is located on-site in - Hamilton, WA

POSITION DESCRIPTION - 

Production support role working with department supervisors performing various clerical and production duties

The position requires execution of the following essential job functions:

Provides customer service to other employees/shops Provides Temporary security badging for customers and visitors Interfaces with cell managers/project managers/mechanical engineers/customers/executives Receives and carries out directions from designated supervisors Navigates SAP, Janicki Industries Project Data Management system (PDM) Tracks Work Orders Familiarity with SAP is desirable Orders inventory/supplies for the administrator office/cell managers/project managers Prints, files and processes work orders ensuring they are stamped and dated and turned in Creates reports, from SAP and creates tables and graphs per management team’s direction Processes employee requests for vacation, sick leave, and time off Manages timecard edits and approvals Works with accounting department to ensure employee time cards and pay roll is processed correctly Works with companies, who provide Temps, to ensure employee time cards and pay roll is approved/ processed correctly Meets daily on the production floor with supervisors and employees providing on site customer service Performs other duties as assigned Behavior: The incumbent must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. The incumbent shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors. Being at work on time and maintaining good attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of your job.

QUALIFICATIONS

Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED is required. Must be detailed oriented, self starter, able to work independently, organized with excellent customer service skills. Proficient with MS office suite, with emphasis on Excel, Experience with SAP desirable. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.  Ability to speak and understand Spanish also is preferred.  Must have above average computer skills. Prior office experience and or administrative experience in a manufacturing setting are preferred. Must have valid driver’s license.

Wage range for this role is between $22 - $29 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.
