Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to facilitate the smooth movement of work orders throughout the organization. This position will work closely with the Planner, Supervisor, and Production Associates to customer request dates are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.

Transacting work orders through our ERP (Oracle) softwareCreating, tracking, and updating production run charts to ensure run rates are being metTake direction from the Planners, Supervisors, and ManagementWork across department, Quality, Engineering, etc, to eliminate roadblocksSupport line Associate, allowing them to focus on building partsIdentify opportunities to improve MFG/ERP system with changes related to BOM, Router, Process Steps.Lead lean activities to drive improvements in our core KPI’s.Clerical work: filing, record keeping, organizing.

Qualifications and Experience Levels

High School diploma or GED, experience in manufacturing, preferably, and 5 years minimum relevant manufacturing experienceStrong analytic skills, a high degree of Microsoft Excel knowledge is requiredGood organizational skills and problem-solving abilitiesKanban experience, Oracle software is preferredUnderstanding of concepts in a Lean Manufacturing Environment and Kanban Supply ChainsChange Agent, demonstrated ability to drive process improvementsU.S. Person (for ITAR compliance purposes)

Physical Demand and Work Environment         

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit.  The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation

$22.00-$25.00/hour

Compensation is based on a variety of factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, qualifications, and business considerations.
