Are you an experienced Operator looking for your next challenge? If so, here at Mars we now have an exciting opportunity for a Production Coordinator to come and join our factory team! In service of the site strategy and delivery of the day to day metrics the job holder will maintain operational standards and production processes being responsible for the minute to minute co-ordination, decision-making, and driving of the manufacturing operation. To ensure the quality of our products meet the Brand specifications, able to make quality and process decisions during manufacture to ensure food safety and quality is met. The Sr. Operator will also role model the ownership mind sets and behaviors and support and coach up to 40 associates and contractors during the shift time frame.

 

What are we looking for?Mechanical training or background is a must. Experience leading / coordinating a small team of associates - again desirable. Experience in FMCG / High speed production – desirable.  

 

What will be your key responsibilities?Continuously monitors and where applicable coaches operators.Ensures standard running conditions are always met & represents operations in Daily and lead Weekly FMOS meetings as requiredCreates weekly crewing plan to ensure non-core running crew are allocated tasks eg. Hygiene, Quality, Ownership, and Safety
