AS A PRODUCTION COORDINATOR, YOU WILL:

Provide general support and coordination of various activities for the Operations Group. This includes duties such as managing batch production records; coordination of pre-Campaign activities; developing, coordinating and implementing departmental specific projects and Lean initiatives; procurement of supplies; compiling and analyzing Operations-related data; creating standard and non-standard reports; and overall coordination of ongoing departmental support activities and communications.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

· Manages issuance of batch production records for use. Tracks batch production record movement from Operations to Quality Assurance. Updates operating procedures and batch records as needed using the electronic document management system. Manages process to collect required batch record updates and ensures changes are made by the appropriate personnel.

· Assists in identifying and leading Lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects including Kaizen events, 5‑S projects, etc. Provides support to the ongoing implementation of various initiatives resulting from continuous improvement activities.

· Leads coordination of pre-campaign activities. Coordinates with operations, process support and EHS to ensure appropriate personnel are on schedule for campaign-related batch record updates, campaign training, hazardous communication training and other pre-campaign activities.

· Oversees the procurement of all operations supplies and consumables including writing purchase orders, checking purchase order status, resolving invoice mismatches, negotiating with vendors for price and delivery, managing vendors in electronic purchasing system, and other required activities. Gathers information and data for budget preparation and cost containment/reduction initiatives.

· Interfaces with QC and QA to ensure raw materials, intermediates and material to be reprocessed or reworked are released as needed for production.

· Administers idea board process and tracking of idea implementation ownership, completion and recognition. Assists in coordination of changes, issues, risk review and management processes.

· Serves as SAP support and subject matter expert for transactions used by operations. Determine pick lists for production batches. Provides support for end users. Reports unresolved problems to SAP power user. Provides training to end users as required. Supports implementation of SAP improvements and projects as required.

· Assists in development and delivery of operations training depending upon topic and expertise level, as required.

· Serves as ADP subject matter expert. Serves as ADP payroll super user as assigned.

· Participates in Quality Incident Investigations and other investigations as needed including activities such as providing input, collecting data, writing deviations, etc.

· Manages other department projects as assigned.

· Prior work experience with purchasing supplies; using SAP (or similar enterprise planning system) and electronic document management systems; and/or participating and leading continuous improvement initiatives is highly preferred.

Additional Position Requirements:

· Willingness to work Monday to Friday from approximately 8 AM to 5 PM.

· Availability for overtime work, both on a scheduled and emergency basis.
