Production Coordinator

What do we Manufacture?

M&Ms- Chocolate and Peanut

*This is a Peanut Facility

Required Shift:

- 12 Hour rotating shift between days and nights (4 days "on" followed by 4 days off)

-Day Shift: around 7am-7pm & Night Shift around 7pm- 7am

Job Purpose:

The Production Coordinator- Green Shift creates and executes plans to accelerate building people capability. They train, coach and mentor operators to deliver the daily production plan and the 90-day plan. They are a flexible resource in their area of support and fill in as the Production Leader to ensure smooth operation of the shift, and operate equipment as needed.

What we are looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

High School graduate or GED3+ years’ experience in an automated manufacturing environmentBasic computer skills with Microsoft OfficeExperience training others in a manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements-

Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.)Frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.)Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping.Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment.Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).Ability to work in varies manufacturing environments and non-temperature-controlled rooms.Must be able to read, write and speak English

Preferred Requirements:

Associate degree or higher in a technical/vocational field5+ years’ experience in an automated manufacturing environment – experience running a process using Wonderware or similarExperience in a GMP manufacturing environmentAdvanced computer skills with Microsoft Office, specifically ExcelExperience with TPM/Continuous Improvement Tools

Train and coach operators/mechanics on executing standardsDrive process efficiency on production equipmentAct as back up for Production LeadExperience in data collection and analysis
