Summary
Coordinate the execution of production programs, analyzing and recommending the development of techniques and equipment, providing technical support and promoting continuous improvements in the manufacturing process, increasing capacity and productivity, ensuring safety and better use of the process. Implement projects within scope, cost, time, and security standards.
Key responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the industrial Team, related to production planning and control, maintenance, quality control and manufacturing;
Lead the development and implementation of plans to achieve plant goals, technology transfer, best practices, quality improvements and other improvement efforts;
Ensure that appropriate systems are available to start, modify, review and communicate manufacturing specifications according to customer needs and plant capacity;
Identify /recommend/implement improvements in plant performance to optimize product volume, productivity and quality, according to business needs;
Ensure that appropriate procedures are available to maintain the integrity of the manufacturing process and change process management.
Review manufacturing processes and procedures to increase product quality uniformity and reduce the generation of non-conformities. Develop factory-standard operating procedures (for manufacturing process and equipment);
Critically analyze the performance of the production area, monitoring, ensuring its performance, availability and reliability;
Participate in meetings, discussing issues of the progress of the work and compliance with the established program;
Promote the training of subordinates, aiming to keep trained for the operations of the area, as well as to highlight the training performed
Strong understanding of continuous improvement processes
Track team performance in production tasks;
Ensure the fulfillment of production delivery times.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
Education: Graduation in Chemical Engineering and/or Production. Desirable Specialization and/or post-grad degree in the area. Work experience: Minimum 5 years of experience Language and computing: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Advanced English and desirable Spanish skills.
